Mr. Thomas is the leader of the firm’s Labor Law & Social Security department.
In his daily practice at Bruchou, Mr. Thomas provides comprehensive labor law and social security advice to corporate and banking clients, and to other clients who seek his specialized expertise. In addition, he is actively involved in due diligence processes and in corporate M&A transactions, advising both buyers and sellers. Furthermore, he represents clients in their matters before government entities, trade unions, as well as in labor collective conflicts, and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements with unions. He also provides legal advice and represents clients in highly complex judicial labor cases in Court. Finally he is active in issues concerning restructuring and reengineering of labor forces, crisis prevention procedures, and has vast experience representing employers in all claims and procedures before the Labor Ministry.
Between 1994 and 2007, he was the partner in charge of the Labor Law department at Negri & Teijeiro where he served as counsel for important financial and corporate clients of many industries, both on collective and individual law matters.
Mr. Thomas was Labor Law professor at the Palermo University for the Graduate School of Business and taught Civil Law at the Argentine Catholic University, between 1981 and 1992.
